I've been crafting simple flowers from fabric scraps. I intend to use the flowers in a larger, future project and tutorial. But, I decided to go ahead and publish the fabric flower making tutorial also. It includes the basic instructions for crafting the flowers and lots of photos to demonstrate the steps. And it's free! You can download, save, and print the PDF here.

Elizabeth,
Thanks for the lovely tutorial. I'm not understanding the part where you have to put the wrong sides of the fabric together. I'm lost. Haaa! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Leslie - don't over think it too much, simple fold about 1/4" of fabric on one end to the back. If you're still stumped send me an email and I'll try another approach.

Thank you so much for the flower tutorial, Elizabeth. I just knitted a blue shrug for my sister and was looking for quick a way to make a pink flower pin for it. Voila your blog! My sister will be very stylish. In spite of herself.
Am dying to see your flower project!
