Upcoming Class - Simple Sewn and Folded Bindings

Next weekend I'll be teaching another workshop - Simple Sewn and Folded Bindings at Ripple River Gallery - This two day workshop is intended as an introduction to book making; including some of the materials, tools, and skills involved in the bookbinding process. On day one we will learn several folded and simple sewn bindings, work with a variety of materials, and create several soft-cover blank books in a variety of sizes and formats. On day two students will dive into the world of “not quite blank books” and create one-of-a-kind travel journals, perfect for their next holiday. This workshop will be held September 11th and 12th 10AM to 4PM on both days. The cost is $90 plus $10 materials fee. Contact Ripple River Gallery for more info or to register 218-678-2575.
