Creating Expressive Books at Ripple River Gallery - This workshop will introduce students to the world of artist books. We will explore materials, how to generate content, and how to chose a structure best suited for that content. On the first day we will create several books with different bindings including a collaborative project. Students will leave this first day with assignments for generating content during the week between classes. On the second day we will reconvene with that content and create more books. Students will finish the class with their own beautiful collection of artists books. Cost is $120 plus $15 materials fee. Saturdays June 18th and 25th from 10AM - 4PM.
