First up, there are still a few spots available in my Creating Expressive Books workshop - This workshop will introduce students to the world of artist books. We will explore materials, how to generate content, and how to chose a structure best suited for that content. We will create several books with several different bindings including an exchange project. Students will finish the class with a beautiful collection of artists books. Please contact Ripple River Gallery for registration. This class is scheduled for Saturday August 4th 10 AM- 5PM. Cost $70 plus $15 Materials Fee.
Also, Yoga at The Gallery - Join me and my hosts at Ripple River Gallery as we center ourselves, find balance, and nurture our creativity through yoga. This series of 70 minute slow flow vinyasa practices are open to all levels and everyone is welcome. Bring your own mat if you have one, some will be available to borrow. Please arrive 10 minutes early. August 5th at 10AM, and August 26th at 11AM. Each class $10. RSVP to the gallery.
The Book as Art - the invitational exhibit of contemporary Artist's Books that I curated will be up at the Ripple River Gallery during both of these other events so you can take in the exhibit as well.
