Yoga for a Healthy Spine - As the only truly bipedal creatures on the planet earth, the human spine is completely unique in its structure; it is an essential part of our central nervous system and at the core of all of our movements. This 2 hour Yoga workshop will introduce students to the basic anatomy of a healthy spine and its six intended directions of movement. After a brief discussion period, participants will be led through a yoga practice that takes the body and the spine gently through all of its natural directions of movement.
Yoga for Creativity - Inspiration comes to a quiet mind. This 2 hour Yoga workshop is designed for artists, writers, and anyone who wishes to express themselves creatively. The class will move participants through lots of heart opening yoga postures. Throughout the class students will be offered creativity prompts and will be given the opportunity to respond to them. Students are encouraged to bring a journal or notebook.
Starting is Hard! A Creativity Workshop - In this workshop we'll explore the creative process in a relaxed and supportive environment. Each participant will create a small but sturdy handmade journal to work in for the remainder of the day as we generate creative content through various writing activities.
